Prison |
||
We take our line about prisons from the Prison Reform Trust. When crime is running high they point towards overcrowded prisons and say "prison doesn't prevent crime" and call for more non-custodial sentences. When crime is falling, they say "why are we locking people up when crime is going down" and call for more non-custodial sentences. We love this liberal wishy-washy double speak. It's the sort of thing we like to hear. |
