Commercial Organisations
We have a duty not to promote any commercial interest. This means that appearances and representations of companies must be severely restricted.

1. Commercial organisations may only appear or be represented when they are being criticised, such as in Watchdog or You and Yours

2. There are some exceptions to this rule. These include most commercial interests in the entertainment business, including rival television and radio. Some commercial journalistic enterprises are NOT exempted, however, such as such as The Daily Mail, Talk Radio, Fox News and Bernard Manning. The full list of favoured people and organisations is found in the Favoured List

3. BBB has a tradition going back many years where it represents industrial disputes from the workers' point of view.
